HOC-LOC EXECUTIVES MEET WITH HOMELAND SECURITY OFFICIALS

WASHINGTON, D.C. January 22, 2004… HOC-LOC Corporation President John Holt met here today with several high-level officials from the Department of Homeland Security and House Homeland Security Committee.

In the first of several meetings, Mr. Holt talked with the staff of the House Homeland Security Committee chaired by Congressman Chris Cox (R-CA), Chairman of the House Select Committee on Homeland Security. Discussions centered on security gaps in the nation’s cargo transportation system and possible remedies. The meeting served to introduce the committee to Hoc-Loc proprietary technology and established an open communication channel between HOC-LOC and the Committee.

Later at the Department of Homeland Security, Mr. Holt met with Undersecretary Asa Hutchinson and his Senior Action Officer, in charge of Border and Transportation Security. The problems of shipping-container security and ways to expedite security checks on trucks crossing our borders were discussed. This meeting also established a direct communication link between HOC-LOC and the Department of Homeland Security as the Department reevaluates federal truck security regulations.

Mr. Holt also met with Congressman George Radanovich (R-CA) and his Senior Legislative Assistant in whose district Hoc-Loc is located. Congressman Radanovich was interested to learn of HOC-LOC’s terrorist prevention capabilities.
